Programs are reasonably priced and geared for kids ages 3 ½ – 14. They offer full day & ½ day programs, fun camps, educational programs & numerous sports clinics. Camps consist of field trips, daily organized activities, and theme days to outdoor adventure.

Registration takes place now through June 6th. Late registration begins June 7th.

Munchkins – Ages 3 ½ to kindergarten
Rascals – Grades 1 and 2
Green Dragons – Grades 3 and 4
Gold Dragons – Grades 5 through 7
Extreme – Grades 7 through 9
Camp Brooksvale – Ages 6 through 14
Registration for the specialty camps below must be done in person:
Creative Kids Summer Arts Program – Grades kindergarten through 6
Mad Science – Entering grades 1 through 6
Build with Ricky, LLC – Grades kindergarten through 5
To register for the above specialty camps, please visit the Recreation Office located on the main floor of Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Avenue Monday through Friday,
8:30am to 4:30pm. On Tuesday May 21st and Monday June 17th, the Hamden Recreation Office will be open until 7PM.
There are also several sports clinics offerings, such as Slamma-Jamma Basketball Clinics, Hamden Rovers Soccer, Tennis & Fitness-ages 12 & under & much more!
