ALL OF US IS A RESEARCH PROGRAM FROM THE NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH (NIH). It is seeking one million or more people from across the U.S. to help speed up medical research. People who join will share information about their health, habits, and what it’s like where they live. By looking for patterns, researchers will learn more about what affects people’s health.
At the moment, health care is often one-size-fits-all. By creating a resource that allows researchers to conduct thousands of studies on health and disease, a future where health care is tailored to unique individuals is possible.
Participants answer health surveys, some donate DNA samples, and some share their electronic health records. It’s up to you what and how much you share. The latest technology is used to keep your data private.
