Quinnipiack Valley Health District currently has a small supply of FREE radon home test kits available to residents of Bethany, Hamden, North Haven & Woodbridge, as supplies last.
Radon is an odorless, invisible, radioactive gas that is naturally released from rocks, soil, and water. It can get into homes through small cracks and holes, build up in the air, and over time, can cause lung cancer from breathing it in. The only way to know is to test.
