Passport Day offers residents the opportunity to apply for a U.S. passport for the first time or renew an existing one. This Passport Day is by APPOINTMENT ONLY. To schedule an appointment, please call (203) 562-3718. Please note that passports will not be printed on-site.

Services Offered:

• U.S. Passport Book:
  • First-time applicants: $165 for adults (16+), $135 for minors (15 & under)
  • Renewal applicants: $130 for adults (16+)
  • Mail Delivery Service: Additional $19.53 for 1-2 day delivery
  • Expedited Service: Additional $60
• U.S. Passport Card:
  1. First-time applicants: $65 for adults (16+), $50 for minors (15 & under)
  2. Expedited service: Additional $60

What to Bring:

• Proof of Citizenship:
  • Original or certified U.S. birth certificate (must be undamaged)
  • U.S. passport (if applicable)
  • Consular report of birth abroad
  • Certificate of naturalization or citizenship
• Photo Identification:
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Undamaged U.S. passport
  • Certificate of naturalization or citizenship
  • Valid government or military ID
• 2×2 Photograph:
  • Color photo with a white background
  • No glasses or hats
  • Printed on Photo Quality Paper
• Form of Payment & Application:
  • Personal check or money order payable to “U.S. Department of State”
  • Credit or debit card for on-site services
