Connecticut’s State Primary is on August 11, 2026.

Absentee ballots are available now. For the first time, every eligible Connecticut voter may vote by absentee ballot without providing a reason or excuse.

Key dates to know:

July 21, 2026: Absentee ballots available. Apply today and vote on your schedule.

August 3 – 9, 2026: Early Voting. Vote during the Early Voting period.

August 11, 2026: Primary Election. Polls open 6:00am – 8:00pm.
