Endoscopy Center of Connecticut, L.L.C. and HHC Surgery Center Holdings, LLC intend to file a Certificate of Need Application with the State of Connecticut Office of Health Strategy pursuant to Section 19a-638 of the Connecticut General Statutes for the transfer of ownership of a healthcare facility. HHC Surgery Center Holdings, LLC will request CON approval to acquire an additional 2% of the membership interests in Endoscopy Center of Connecticut, L.L.C, a licensed outpatient surgical facility, giving it a 51% controlling interest in the company. HHC Surgery Center Holdings, LLC will also assume an additional seat on the Board of Managers of Endoscopy Center of Connecticut, LLC, giving it an equal number of seats to the other existing owner. Endoscopy Center of Connecticut, LLC owns and operates two licensed outpatient surgical facilities located at 2200 Whitney Avenue in Hamden and 1591 Boston Post Road in Guilford. The capital expenditure associated with the acquisition of the additional membership interests is $374,510.
