Feeding Hamden, Fueling Action – Sept. 30th

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Hamden Food Collaborative will host “Feeding Hamden, Fueling Action” in recognition of Hunger Action Month at Grace & St. John’s located at 2927 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden.

The evening will highlight Hamden’s ongoing local food distribution and food rescue efforts, raise awareness about food insecurity in the community, and connect residents with ways to support their neighbors.

Community members will have the opportunity to visit interactive action stations to speak one-on-one with representatives from various local agencies and partner organizations involved in food rescue, distribution, and community service to learn how to get involved.

The public is encouraged to attend, connect, and learn how to support their neighbors. The Hamden Food Collaborative has worked in partnership with local organizations and community members since 2017 to combat food insecurity and ensure dependable access to food across Hamden.
