Despite widespread awareness in a short period of time, electric vehicles(EVs) haven’t achieved mainstream adoption, making up about 2% of vehicle sales. The adoption rate(the rate that we replace fossil fuel run machinery with clean electric ones) needs to reach 100% this century. The United States needs 90% of cars to be electric by 2050 to meet our climate goals.
