The Lifestyle Magic of Tidying & Decluttering June 16 at 6:30

Do you feel overwhelmed by clutter and have a hard time finding things? Do you yearn to live in a tidy and serene home? Would you like to learn how? Scientists have found that clutter and disorganization may impact one’s ability to function well and focus. Learn how to make this a possibility for you by joining us for a free virtual program on “The Lifestyle Magic of Tidying & Decluttering” on Wednesday, June 16, 6:30 to 7:30.

The presenter, Christine Thorn, is a Certified Gold KonMari Consultant. Learn the unique approach of the KonMari Method of tidying and decluttering and what the life-changing benefits are. The KonMari Method is based on Marie Kondo’s book “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying up”. The book was first published in Japan in 2011 and in the U.S. in 2014. It has since become an international bestseller.

Ms. Thorn studied with Marie Kondo’s team in New York City to obtain her KonMari certification. She launched her consulting venture “Sage of Interiors” in April 2018. Thorn will explain how the KonMari Method focuses only on those items which bring joy to your life, rather than what needs to be eliminated. The fundamental KonMari question is: Does this spark joy?

She will detail the six-step process of the KonMari Method. She will also demonstrate proper KonMari folding techniques, as well as show examples of transformations achieved in her clients’ homes.

The event is free and open to the public, and of interest to all ages. Adults, teens and soon to be those heading off to college may benefit from attending. Registration is required. Register directly online here
