Hamden’s annual Summer Concert Series will take place on Fridays in July, officials announced on Thursday.
“Each Friday in July, join us at Hamden Town Center Park for an unforgettable evening of live music, dancing, and fun,” officials wrote in a post on the town’s Facebook page. “The opening band will take the stage at 7:30 pm, followed by the main act at 8:00 pm.
“We have an incredible lineup this year, featuring some of the best performers around.”
July 7th – Nekita Waller will be bringing her incredible voice and powerful stage presence to the park! Opening act is country cover act Southern Voice Band
July 14th – Timmy Maia Music Entertainment will take you on a soulful journey with his incredible sound and energy. Opening act is R&B, eclectic band The Bernadettes
July 21st – DJ Buddha LuvJonz and DJ Herman Ham Group will bring the party with their unique blend of hip-hop, R&B, and electronic music for a serious Party in the Park.
July 28th – Doug Jones Jazz will close out the series with his smooth and soulful jazz sound, that’s sure to captivate the audience and create an unforgettable night of music. Opening Act is Professor B and the Army of Love
