Hello from the Borrowers Services Department!

We are so glad to be able to safely put the books, DVDs, magazines, movies, or other items you are looking for in your hands. We miss serving you face to face, but are happy to help you through this difficult time. Here are some tips to make borrowing easier.

Not sure what to borrow? Please call our librarians at the Information Department 203-287-2680. They are excited to assist you!

If you are new to Contactless Pick Up or to streamline your pick up here is the process at Miller:

 *Call us from your car in the parking lot: 203-287-2682.
The branches require you call ahead as well: Brundage/Community, 203 287-2675 and Whitneyville, 203 287-2677.

*Have your library card number ready.
We will check out your items at that point. Your items will be identified by the last four digits of your phone number we have on record.

*As you walk up to the Miller Library, please enter the doors  where you see the green sandwich board.

 * Please be sure you have your mask on.
The table where you pick up your item is straight ahead in the lobby. There is a book-drop there as well. On that table there are free informational items, please free to take those home with you.

*Please return all items.
All library items are quarantined for 96 hours before being checked in. Once checked in the books are then taken off your record and Hamden items are fine free. We only charge for items that are damaged or lost.

All book drops at Miller, Brundage/Community, and Whitneyville are open 24/7.
