Friends of the Library - The Friends of the Hamden Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group that supports and promotes the library.

Donating Books - The library accepts gently used books, CDs, audiobooks, and DVDs to add to its collection, or to sell at Friends of the Library bookstore. 

Monetary Gifts - Contributions to the Library are used to purchase materials and equipment and to support programs for children and adults
