OneClickDigital Help

Getting Started

Hamden Public Library is no longer subscribing to OnClickDigital. However, Hamden residents may download audiobooks through the Connecticut State Library's OneClickDigital service. Your Hamden login information will not work, so you will need to create a new account to access the State Library's audiobook collection. Go to the OneClick digital webpage, click "Create New Account" and enter your library card barcode number.

You will need to set up your account preferences in different ways depending on your computer OS and type of music player. You may change your preferences at anytime.

FAQ

How many downloadable audiobooks may I check out at a time? - You can check out 10 books at a time.

How long can I keep them? - When you are checking out your audiobook, you have the option keep them for anytime between 7 and 21 days. You are also allowed 1 renewal.

Titles can be "returned" at any time. Digital audiobooks that are not returned will simply expire and become inaccessible - no fines will accrue.

How many books can I have on hold at once? - You may place holds on up to 5 titles at a time. However, many of the eAudiobooks in this collection allow for multiple patron checkouts at the same time, and do not require holds to be placed.

Can I burn a copy of the eAudiobook to a disc to play on my CD player? - Unfortunately, no. The audiofiles are encrypted, and cannot be burned to disc.
