Hamden Library invites you to “Make a Splash” this summer by playing our summer reading game. To play, just keep track of the time you spend reading on a special sheet & mark off a box for every fifteen minutes spent reading.

Four boxes = one hour of reading

After each four hour block: Bring your sheet in to the Library to get it stamped, put a splashy marker on our board and dig a prize out of the beach box. After completing the whole sheet (16 hours) enter the reading raffle to win one of the larger prizes such as a gift certificate or tee shirt!

The more you read, the more chances to win!! Read anything that you like! Books you read for the Hamden public school’s summer reading assignment or the Governor’s summer reading campaign can also count for our program.

Children who are not yet readers can count the time that they are read to.

Last day to turn in your reading logs is Friday, August 13th!
